the staff at Sleepy Lion Hostel, Youth Hotel & Apartments was incredibly friendly and the location was amazing! It was perfect for attending the WGT as it was close to all the tram stops and even within walking distance to some of the venues. the breakfast provided was simple but sufficient, especially if you're in a hurry. they offered towel rentals at a reasonable price, which was convenient if you forgot to bring your own. the hostel had a welcoming atmosphere, was clean, and checking in/out was easy, even late at night. Cons: Nothing I didn't like, to be fair. 😊.

The location of the hotel was perfect, very close to the train station. the room was clean and the staff was friendly. I also loved the old and beautiful building, especially the cool staircase. Plus, the free tea and coffee provided in the communal space was a nice touch.
One drawback was that there was no soap provided in the room, which I found surprising. the upper beds in the dorm room were a bit slippery and uncomfortable to get off of.

The Wi-Fi signal in the hotel is weak and may disconnect frequently.

The location was central, making it easy for us to explore Leipzig. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed. The kitchenette in our room was convenient for preparing meals for the kids. It was also a great value for money, allowing us to save on accommodation expenses and spend more on exciting activities during our trip.
For dads, it would be great to have more family-friendly amenities available, such as a playground or an indoor activity area for the children.

This hostel is the perfect place to dive into the cultural life of a city you didn't even know existed. It's like a hidden gem, with all the city's attractions just a short walk away.
WiFi was so good, I had to actually put my phone away and interact with people. Ugh, the horror!

Great location, walking distance from the main station. The room was bigger than expected, with plenty of space for luggage. Clean and warm room. Nice and helpful staff. Good Wi-Fi and cozy bed.
The room was a bit noisy, especially in the morning due to the main road outside. Thin walls, could hear voices from nearby rooms.
